CenterPointe's partial hospitalization programs offer patients full days of behavioral health treatment in a less restrictive environment that does not require overnight stay. Patients appropriate for this level of care have adequate family or environmental support and have reduced the crisis level in their lives.
Partial hospitalization, which meets full days, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., may be utilized as a "step-down" program for patients discharged from acute inpatient care or as the point of entry for new admissions. CenterPointe's partial hospitalization is available at its outpatient centers and provides programming for adult psychiatry, chemical dependency and dual diagnosis.
To better serve the needs of patients who are chronically and persistently mentally ill, CenterPointe offers a specialized progressive partial hospitalization program (PPHP).
