At CenterPointe Hospital, we recognize that knowing what to expect can make seeking treatment less intimidating. We have put together some frequently asked questions (FAQs) to help ease any concerns you might have about turning to us for professional support.

What type of services do you provide?

CenterPointe Hospital offers a wide range of treatment options including Inpatient Psychiatric Treatment for Adolescents, Adults, and Senior Adults; Detoxification for alcohol, opiates and benzodiazepines; Residential Treatment for chemical dependency for adults; Outpatient Partial Hospitalization Program (5 days a week); and Intensive Outpatient Program (3 half-days a week). We have a variety of different types of specialized programs custom tailored to meet your unique needs such as outpatient programs for military, veterans, first responders, TMS treatment for depression and residential treatment for addiction dedicated to the LGBTQ+ community. Do you accept insurance?

Yes we do! We work with most major insurance companies, as well as with Medicare, Tricare, and Medicaid (up to and including the age of 20)

What do I need to bring if I am checking into your Inpatient Treatment program?

If you think you will be checking into our Inpatient Program, bring the following with you to your assessment appointment: Insurance and ID documents, names/addresses/phone numbers of current healthcare providers, clothes for 3-5 days (washing machines and dryers are provided), no more than $20 cash, list of medications, personal hygiene items (no alcohol items). Please leave at home any glass containers, sharp objects, strings & ties, and electronic devices.

What is your admission process?

We are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week While no appointment is required, it is best to call ahead, if possible, to talk to one of our phone counselors to discuss your mental health and/or substance use concerns. Upon arrival to our hospital, you will be seen by a qualified clinician prior to admission to our facility. They will work the inpatient staff to help customize your treatment to your individual needs.

I need directions to your facilities.

We have a hospital in St. Charles (Weldon Spring), Missouri and several outpatient locations in the Greater St. Louis Metro area, as well as in Central Missouri.

The staff at CenterPointe treated me as a unique individual and I have not felt that cared about in a long time. I feel positive about my life for the first time in a long time.
